Our Client is a successful company in the Ewa Beach area. They’re on the smaller side (with around 50 employees) but they are deemed an essential service so it’s a very stable full-time position. They have their own servers that they need to make changes to, because one of them is old and they don’t want it to crash. They also have their own in-house application that’s based off of FileMaker. Currently there is only one person doing both, but they would like to bring another person on since the current IT person needs to focus on improving the application, which requires a lot of design and programming. They are looking for someone with the following skills...
Minimum requirements:
• Windows 2015 and above server management
• VMWare admin experience
• Local Area Network management
• Experience with workstations (helping users set up accounts, troubleshooting, etc)
Would be nice:
• Desire/potential/interest in database programming
The reason is in the near term, 9-18 months, they will be focused on upgrading and migrating their servers. So you will have to be able to maintain day to day operations and assist in the server upgrade. Once that is complete, they anticipate up to 50% of work will be working on their internal proprietary ERP system. So there’s an opportunity to do programming if you’d like.
The salary range is open, it depends on your experience and skills. They are willing to pay something competitive if you are the right fit. They also have really good benefits as well. They cover 100% of health insurance costs and there's 5% profit sharing. There’s also the opportunity to wear many hats and make an impact.
If you’re interested, please email me an updated resume with a phone number and I'll reach out. Thank you!
